Warm weather is still hanging around, but we’ll all be admiring colored leaves and wearing our favorite hoodies before too long. We have lots of fun programs at our branches in September. See just a sample below, and be sure to check online for all our fall programs.
Sherry Norfolk
Sherry Norfolk’s storytelling is rhythmic and melodic, animated and exuberant, enlivened by an array of voices and sounds. An award-winning performer, Sherry’s vivid stories engage audiences of all ages. This program is for ages 2 and up.

Bears Abound at Ashland and Fulton
Join us for stories and activities about bears in Ashland’s “Bears Abound” program and Fulton’s Going on a Bear Hunt program. Ages 3 and older.

Smash Books
Smash books are a new kind of fun, informal scrapbooking. You can put one together in an afternoon. Take an idea, a poem or one of your favorite things and create a little book made of scraps. We’ll provide the materials, and you provide the inspiration. Ages 8 and older.
Columbia will have a session later in October.

Frog and Toad Storybook Night
Enjoy an amazing night centered around the Frog and Toad books by Arnold Lobel. Enjoy live action storytelling of the beloved books and fun hands-on activities. There might even be a real frog or toad to gaze upon. Ages 4-8. Registration begins Tuesday, September 8. Call 443-3161 to register.

The Great Disguise Caper
Imagine yourself donning a lavishly decorated hat, a dashing moustache or a period monocle. Would anyone recognize you? In this program we will use our imaginations to create different disguises using paper, scissors and glue. Ages 7 and older. Registration begins Tuesday, September 15. Call 443-3161 to register.
